6.2 Common Problems and Troubleshooting for Mac
Common problems
Troubleshooting steps
Opening port failed.
Please check if the port is occupied by other applications,
such as "Hyper terminal", or if the software has already run.
Close relevant applications and run the software again.
Internet connection
failure.
Please check if the network settings in dialer are configured
correctly.
Please check the payment status (Insufficient Privilege,
(OGB,TSP, Not Active in AAA/HLR)
No CD-ROM disk appear
on Desktop.
Please check if the program is installed or not. If the program
has been installed, please remove the program and insert the
terminal again.
If the program is not yet installed, please restart your OS first.
If CD-ROM disk ordinal doesn't appear after restart, contact
your local operator or product technical support center.
Can’t install driver
successfully
Please try to uninstall the driver and reinstall it.
Device is not detecting
Please check if the drivers (ModemDriverMac.kext) are
present in the following path /System/Library/Extensions. If
not, please reinstall the application.
Device is detecting, but
not showing signal
strength
Please check with the operator if the device is activated or not
