In the next dialog box, click on the IP Address tab. Click on
the radio button next to Obtain an IP address
automatically . Click OK to close the Network dialog boxes.

Restart the computer.
Installing Subsequent ZoomAir Clients
Now install the ZoomAir PC Cards on the remaining computers
that will make up your wireless network. Follow the instructions in
the documentation that came with the ZoomAir PC Cards. Use the
floppy diskettes that were created when you installed the first
client. When the installation program asks you about DHCP,
indicate “I Have a DHCP Server.”
Setting Up the ZoomAir AP11 on an
Existing Wireless Network
If you have purchased the ZoomAir AP11 to add to an existing
wireless network, the installation is only slightly more complicated.
There are several possible scenarios using ZoomAir products:

An all-wireless wireless network with standard versions of
ZoomAir PC Cards.
•
A ZoomAir wireless network with a software access point .
•
ZoomAir is compatible with ZoomAir 2Mbps and 11Mbps
clients.
In these cases, uninstall the ZoomAir PC Card and reinstall with
the latest drivers. You can find the latest driver information at our
Web site www.zoom.com .
If you are already familiar with ZoomAir wireless networking, you
will know that you have to make sure that all wireless clients and
the access point(s) are set up with the same Service Set Identifier
(SSID) and Wired Equivalent Privacy
(
WEP) key, if it is used. Access
points usually manage the channel designation, but you may also
need to make some manual changes there.
For other networks containing non-Zoom wireless devices, the
devices must be IEEE 802.11 DSSS compliant and have provisions
for setting SSID and channel. If you want to use the WEP key, the
devices must also provide for setting this feature by directly
