Making audio interface settings

Settings can be made, including for the monitoring sound and output level.

Setting direct monitoring

This directly outputs the sound being recorded by the R20 before sending it to the computer, smartphone
or tablet. This enables monitoring without latency (direct monitoring).

Tap

on the audio interface Level Meter View Screen.

Tap “Direct Monitor” “On” or “Oﬀ”.

Oﬀ

This turns oﬀ direct monitoring. This outputs the sound being
recorded by the R20 after sending it to the computer, smartphone or
tablet.

This turns on direct monitoring.

NOTE

• When in Multi Track mode

Connecting computers, smartphones and tablets

), the direct monitoring

sound is from the pre-fader mix, so fader adjustments will not aﬀect the volume.

• When in Stereo Mix mode

), the direct monitoring

sound is from the post-fader mix, so fader adjustments will aﬀect the volume.
