4.3.3.2 Contract Alarms
The CONTACT ALARMS MENU allows the user to configure all options relating to the contact alarm
inputs located at the back of the ZVM-328.
To view the current settings for a contact enter the contact number in the Alarm No field. All other
fields on the page will then be updated with the current operating values.
Editable Fields are:
Alarm No [ ]
Enter a camera number between 01 and 32.
Alarm Text
Allows the user to enter a caption for the current alarm of up to 10
characters in length.
Alarm Status [ ]
Toggle Alarm Status normal condition between N/O (Normally Open
Contact), N/C (Normally Closed Contact) or OFF (Ignore Alarm Contact
Input).
Priority [ ]
Alarm priority (1-9, 9 Highest). Used when Queue Type selected is PRIOR
(Priority) as opposed to CHRON (Chronological).
Relay [ ]
Enable or Disable relay action taken when alarm occurs.
Events
Each Alarm triggers three events. Each event can be configured to switch a
Camera to a Monitor, send a Camera to a Preset and Report the alarm to a
Keyboard. Additionally, individual aspects of each event can be switched
ON or OFF.
