When the defibrillator successfully completes its automatic self tests, the
device displays a green check
(

in the status indicator window to show
that all tests passed and that it is ready to use. If the defibrillator does
not display a green check in the status indicator window following the
completion of any self test, the ZOLL AED 3 defibrillator is not ready for
use and may be defective. Remove the defibrillator from service and
consult “Troubleshooting” on page 25 to determine the problem.
Automatic Self-Test Transfer
All ZOLL AED 3 defibrillators come standard with Program Management
Onboard
TM
intelligent monitoring technology to transfer self-test data. If
configured, the AED can automatically transfer self-test information over
Wi-Fi to the PlusTrac
TM
AED program management system or to another
AED program management provider.
Self Test When Performed Functions Performed
Automatic Once every 7 days (this
interval can be configured
to once a day) when the
AED is stored with battery
pack installed. Basic functions:
