HOW TO CLEAN
•
Thoroughly rinse your Zojirushi Drink Dispenser before use and with washing-up liquid after use. Make
sure all former contents are properly removed. After the product is thoroughly cleaned, leave to drain
and dry.
•
Always clean the exterior shell with a warm, soft, damp cloth and wipe dry.
•
To remove stubborn stains from the inner stainless steel container; insert one dessert spoon measure of
soda crystals, which can be purchased from a Supermarket, and fill with hot water. Secure the lid and
leave overnight. Always rinse several times after this operation, making absolutely sure the inner
stainless steel container is clean.
•
Your Zojirushi Drink Dispenser is recommended to be regularly and carefully cleaned throughout. Dry
carefully and make sure the inner stainless steel container is in place and the base secured firmly.
•
Do not put your Zojirushi Drink Dispenser in a dishwasher, and do not immerse in water.
•
For your safety and health, do not clean with chemical cleaners or detergents, other than mentioned
herein.
IMPORTANT PRECAUTIONS!
•
For your safety, always use your Zojirushi Drink Dispenser with great care. The insulated inner
stainless steel container provides you with very efficient thermal retention. Never forget to always
handle with great care.
•
Always dispense the contents into a cup or vessel. Do not drink directly from the product. This will
avoid dangerous scalding from hot drinks. Do not place products filled with hot beverages, in windy or
draughty places, as this will avoid dangerous spillages.
•
Always store your Zojirushi Drink Dispenser in a safe place and keep away from children or those
inexperienced to handle safely. This product must be operated and stored in an upright position.
•
Do not fill
your Zojirushi Drink Dispenser with carbonated drinks of any kind. This will avoid leakage
through the spout and lid and possible damage to the interior of the product.
•
Do not fill with warm milk or baby food as temperatures above ambient may lead to growth of micro-
organisms capable of causing gastro-enteritis. However, this does not apply to hot or cold milk.
•
For your safety, do not place on hot surfaces or attempt to heat contents from the exterior; such as ovens,
microwave or hot plates.
•
Do not attempt to cool contents by placing in a refrigerator, freezer or similar, for this will achieve
nothing, as the inner container is vacuum-filled and therefore thermally resistant.
•
Your Zojirushi Drink Dispenser is specifically designed for table-top use. We do not recommend this
product for other than table-top usage only.
•
We do not recommend you fill your Zojirushi Drink Dispenser with any kind of food such as soups or
casseroles, for this will block the spout, and render the dispensing system inoperative.
•
For your safety, remember that the Zojirushi Drink Dispenser maintains a very high thermal efficiency
for up to four hours. Never forget that a hot beverage is stored.
HOW TO USE
•
We recommend that before using, pre-fill with warm water for hot beverages or cold water for cold
beverages. This ensures the very best performance from your Zojirushi Drink Dispenser and optimises
thermal retention.
•
Always make certain you only fill to 3 centimetres below the rim, for both hot or cold beverages, as this
enables the lid to be safely secured to avoid accidental spillage and pouring. Remember to keep your
Zojirushi Drink Dispenser upright at all times to avoid spillage.
•
Virtually all Zojirushi Drink Dispensers incorporate a convenient push –button for easy dispensing.
With the DVA-F10S you lift the button to dispense.
