The Zodiac ZOOM™ is not
working or is moving too slowly
(less than 3 metres a minute) Are both the pump basket and
the filter clean?
Are there any impurities in the
pump turbine?
Is the hose connected properly?
Is the pump in good working
condition?
Is the diaphragm damaged or
blocked?
Clean filter and pump basket.
Clean pump.
Change diaphragm. (See
paragraph “Changing the
Diaphragm.)
The Zodiac ZOOM™ is moving
slowly and there are air bubbles
visible in water returned to pool Is there a leak in the filtration
circuit?
Has the hose got a hole in it?
Things to be checked:
- Pump basket: tighten cover.
- Flexible cleaner hose: check
connections of sections.
- Pull the hose out of the water
piece by piece and check for a
hissing noise that will indicate
water escaping.
The Zodiac ZOOM™ is not
covering all the areas of the pool Is the hose long enough?
How is the flow of the water
return into pool orientated? The
water flow should not be in a
circular motion around the pool.
Is the hose straight?
Add on extra hose sections.
Turn pool returns so they do
not affect the hose’s movement
along surface.
Ensure the hose is stored
straight all the time, when not in
the pool.
