3.1. UNPACKING
The box should contain the following parts (
Figure 1
):
•
a Vortex
TM
1 cleaner; a power supply box; instructions for use and
a bag containing the assembly accessory kit.
Proceed as follows to unpack these items:
•
Remove the power supply box..
•
Remove the floating cable and finally the cleaner.
Check that the appliance has not been damaged during transport
(shocks, broken parts, etc.). If you notice any defective parts, please
contact your retailer immediately and before using the cleaner.
3.2. FIX THE POWER SUPPLY BOX TO A WALL
IMPORTANT:
Place the control box at a distance of at least 3.5 meters from the
pool edge and away from direct sunlight; it can either be placed on
the ground or attached to a wall.
•
Use the diagram supplied with the accessory kit in order to drill holes
in the wall in the correct location.
•
Fix the power supply box to the wall (
Figure 2
).
3.3. IMMERSING THE CLEANER
Do not allow bathing when the cleaner is in the pool.
Place the cleaner into the water vertically and move it slightly in all directions so that the air in
the cleaner is expelled (
Figure 3
).
Make sure the appliance sinks to the bottom of the pool.
Lay the floating cable on the surface of the water in order to make sure it is not entangled.
