3. INSTALLATION OF THE UNIT
The heater will be placed in
a technical room
(ventilated, dry and without stored pool maintenance
substances), nearby the swimming pool filter. It will be fixed vertically and level (in order to allow a
possible evacuation of water from the electrical box by hole ). The supplied support (see figure A) can
be used to mount the heater on the wall (wall example).
In any case, the device must NOT be held by the filtration pipes
.
The device must be preferably installed at the lowest point of the filtration system so that the body is
always filled with water by retention (see figure 1).
For
an outdoor installation
nearby a mobile filtration system, a
minimum distance of 3.5 meters should be observed between the
heater and the basin
.
To install the support:
- fix the support to the wall with inserts installed earlier in the wall and the
supplied screws (dimensions distances between centres of the points of
fixing: 11.2 cm x 24.5 cm),
- using a screwdriver, open the black plastic hold straps and then place the
heater body on the support and close the straps (see figure B).
4. CONNECTIONS
4.1 Hydraulic connection
The heater will be connected directly to the swimming pool filtration circuit vertical to the filtration outlet
with a minimum flow rate of 5 m
3
/h and a maximum flow rate of 22 m
3
/h.
WARNING: the heater must be installed upstream from any water treatment system.

4.2 Electrical connection
•
the heater will be protected by a
30 mA differential circuit breaker (not supplied) at the line
head
.
MANDATORY! The device must be connected to an Earth connection.
Note factory configuration
: all 3-6-9 kW heaters have a power terminal strip equipped with clamps for an
electrical connection to the single-phase power supply 230V-50Hz-. For connection to the three-phase power
supply 400V-50Hz- plus neutral, remove these clamps.
•
supply cable section: this section is recommended for cables of a maximum length of 20 metres,
with a calculation base of 5A/mm². It must be checked and adapted if necessary, depending on
installation conditions:
