❹ Preparing the pool

  

4.1 I  Filtration and filter media

The exclusive magnesium-based treatment system is designed to be optimally efficient with a filtration system that has 

been correctly designed and dimensioned and that uses Zodiac® Crystal Clear glass filter medium (and not sand).

Procedure for filling the filter:

• 

Pour fresh water into the filter bowl so as to cover the side nozzles and dampen the falling filter medium  . 

• 

Use a plastic bag to cover the top nozzle of the filter while filling (to prevent the filter medium from penetrating the 

nozzle).

• 

Then pour the filter medium in the following proportions:

 -

Approximately 1/4 to 1/3 of the total required weight with Zodiac® Crystal Clear "coarse" glass medium to cover 

the side nozzles  .

 -

Approximately 2/3 to 3/4 of the total required weight with Zodiac® Crystal Clear "fine" glass medium  .
