riving knife
For shorter pieces of wood, you can improve performance by shortening the gap wedge retrace
To adjust the riving knife, perform the following steps:
Set the log on the splitting table and go to the riving knife to the desired position.
The upper position of the riving knife should
then be approximately
3-5cm
above the piece
of wood.
Release
one
control handle so that the splitting
knife remains in this position and turn the power
off.
Pull out the main plug.
Release the second control handle.
Shorten the return on the attached adjusting
(
B
), by fixing the set screw (
A
) at the required
height.
Release both levers going or turn off the engine
again.
Check the new position.
