Power Button
The Power Button is the physical push button at the top
of the Control Panel. After pressing once, it either remains
down (subsurface) in the “ON” position with a blue light
glowing from the center, or it up (flush) in the “OFF”
position.
Always turn the Power Button to OFF before exiting the
Zinger.
There is no "OFF" key. Simply remove the battery to
prevented unwanted use.
Auto Shut O ff
If the Zinger is left ON, the power will automatically shut
o ff after 10 minutes of inactivity. The blue Power Button
light will be out but the Power Button itself will physically be
down (subsurface). To reset and turn the power back ON,
press the Power Button once to the OFF position, (so that it
is up and flush with surface), wait three seconds, then press
the Power Button again so that it is down. The blue light
will come on indicating that the Zinger is now “ON”.
Charge Indicator Lights
To read the charge indicator lights turn the Zinger o ff ,
then back on and wait 20 seconds. Reading the charge
indicator lights during or after use without first restarting the
Zinger will likely result in erroneous readings.
NOTE:
The charge indicators are not proportional.
NOTE: If the critical low warning occurs while driving (red
light on, other three flashing) do not panic. Stop when it is
safe, turn the Zinger o
ff and back on, and wait 20 seconds
to make a reading. Often a long hill climb or driving in grass
will cause the indicators to read lower voltage than under
normal use and therefor falsely show the critical low warning
with up to 15% battery life still actually remaining.

50% to 20% Remaining
Left 2 lights ON
Right 2 lights OUT
5% to 20% Remaining
Left red light ON
Other 3 lights OUT
Less than 5% battery life remaining.
Charge as soon as possible. To maximize
your range avoid hills, use medium speed
range, and drive directly to the nearest
location for charging.
