Click on the Admin tab then click the desired IP Logic Cage from the Admin Device List. The General Device Settings
will appear for the selected ZIG-ILC Cage (see
Figure 5
).
Device Name
The Device Name is used to identify the device. The Device Name can be changed by clicking on the Edit button
then entering the new Device Name. Press Enter when complete. The Device Name could identify the source
type and/or location, for example, Cage_Rack2_EquipRoom. The default device name is the MAC address.
Device Type
The Device Type indicates if the selected IP-Logic unit is a Transmitter, Receiver, or Cage.
Device Serial Number
The Device Serial Number shows the selected IP-Logic unit’s Serial Number.
Logic Core Firmware
The Logic Core Firmware revision is displayed. The selected unit has the latest firmware revision if

“ is indicated. The selected device receives its updates automatically through
the Essentials Control Server.
