Setting of the Dosing Quantity

The adjusting screw at the quantity setting valve must be turned until the upper edge of the
floater upper edge has reached the desired value in liters/hour at the scale of the flow
measuring pipe (see Diagram 7, Page - 14 -).

Initial Commissioning

The contactor shuts off the unit as soon as the floater sinks down (safety circuit).
When processing very small quantities ensure that the floater is actually capable to sink down.
Otherwise there is the possibility that the floater does not shut off even though the flow rate
has decreased to zero (risk of underdosage!!!).
At the standard device, the marking (scaling) at the flow measuring pipe 40 to 400 l/h. As the
shut-off  function  is  no  longer  warranted  for  in  the  lowest  section  (40l/h),  a  flow  measuring
pipe  featuring  a  display  ranging  from  15  to150  l/h  can  alternatively  be  installed  (see  Spare
Parts List, Page - 23 -, Item 19).

Attention!

The device and the connected worm conveyor are automatically deactivated by the
contactor as soon as the floater, respectively the quantity sinks beneath the set value.

The prerequisite for this is naturally a precise setting.
