4.2.2 Clean measured fiber, and switch in OTDR port. Please give attention to fiber port type,
because if unmatched connector type switch in, the output fiber head may be damaged and you
may obtain wrong result.
4.2.3 Press SCAN button to start scanning with progress bar displayed on screen. The device
doesn’t need to set pulse width. The device will adjust automatically in the progress of scanning.
The powerful intelligent analysis software calculates the event points in the whole measurement
range.
4.2.4 After measurement, all measured values are displayed. 8 events can be displayed in total
event at a time, and you can check each event by operating up and down arrow. The error of
reflection event is very small and the error of attenuation is large.
