REPLACEABLE ENDS OF REAR PTO
SHAFT
Standard the tractor is equipped with the
fixed 6-spline end.
∗ On customer’s wish the tractor may be
equipped with 6- or 21-spline replace-
able end of the PTO shaft.
Replacement procedure:
1. Use circlip pliers to remove the
circlip (1).
2. Pull the replaceable end in the arrow
direction (2) to remove it.
3. Installation is a reverse procedure to
removal, pay special care to installa-
tion of the circlip (1).
Replacement of the shaft end
must be done with the stopped
engine.
Select the PTO shaft speed and
end type according to the imple-
ment prescribed speed.
Shifting of 540 and 1000 or 540E
rpm is possible regardless of the
number of splines of the installed
