Useful tips
•
There are 3 LED light indicators i.e. Ice making, add water and ice full
•
The water level is clearly marked when you lift the plastic ice storage basket
•
Only fill it to that mark and place the storage basket back in position
•
Remove the ice scoop from the basket and place on the space provided on top
of the machine
•
You can leave it in but it will simply take up space where there should be ice
•
I added bottled water because tap water is not as pure as bottled water and the
machine will therefore not need cleaning all that often
•
By using bottled water, it also eliminates an actual taste of the ice which is
quite common when tap water is used (tap water has a bit of a taste as we all
know….most people don’t like that taste)
•
First load of ice is almost transparent and not solid….sort of like ice flakes
•
After that it makes the correct ice
•
The ice is of a white colour with a nice thick wall
•
The ice looks small at first but it lasts quite a while in the glass when added
to liquid
•
When the ice basket is full, the compressor will stop and the ice full light
indicator will come on
•
Have a look inside and you will see that the ice piles up on the side (almost
looks like a little ice waterfall) and activates the ice full sensor
•
Just scrape it down into the basket and the machine will carry on making ice
•
Keep on doing this and the ice basket will get nice and full instead of only
half way
•
Keep it full or store it in the freezer and build up reserves that way
•
When the add water light indicator comes on it is important that you fill to
the correct level and then you need to press the start button twice
•
It is because the machine goes on pause when it runs out of water and does
not start automatically when you added water to the correct level
•
You can pause the machine at any time by pressing the start button
•
The light will flash when it is on pause
•
When you press it again, the light will be solid and the machine will start
working i.e. you will hear the compressor starting
