Note: Appliance cannot be run off two heat sources at the same time.
TO START GAS OPERATION
WARNING: ENSURE THAT THE GAS SUPPLY HOSE IS NOT IN
CONTACT WITH OR NEAR THE BURNER BOX.

Make sure that the electrical supply to the appliance is turned off and plugged
out. Leave the element inserted for 2 hours before removal to ensure that the
element cools down completely. Insert the baffle.
2. Loosen the retainer screws (B2) on the element and slide the element out of
bottom the chimney (A1).
3. Insert the burner (C1) onto the bottom of the chimney (A1)
4. Fasten the retainer screws (C2) to the bottom of the chimney (A1)
5. Open the shut-off valve on the gas bottle or gas installation (check that there is
enough gas).
6. Keep the flame failure device knob (A) pressed in for approximately 15
seconds.
7. Release for 10 seconds, strike match and insert into (B). Press (A) again. The
burner will now burn with a blue flame.
8. Keep the knob (A) pressed in for a further 15 seconds then release it. If the
flame goes out, repeat steps 6, and 7 until the flame stays alight.
9. The appliance should be left running for a minimum of 12 hours
