Installation –
Installing the Power Pack
1. Install optional AK08xxAS Stainless Steel Liner. Review
manual included with liner for more details.
2. If no liner is used cut out an opening in the bottom of the
cabinet by following the dimensions in
FIG 1
.
3. Lift Power Pack into opening and ensure locking clip has
ORFNHGLQWRSRVLWLRQORFNLQJFOLSLVORFDWHGRQOHIWVLGHRI
Power Pack.

If a liner is used the screws will go through the Power Pack
mounting holes, then the liner and into the wood base.
note:
Wood blocking may need to be added to cabinet
base if additional support is needed. see
FIG 3 and FIG 4
5. Install duct work and seal with duct tape.
7. Install electrical.
8.
Remove all packing materials before using Power
Pack.
Switch power on and check for leaks around duct
tape.

The ducting from this fan to the outside of the building has a strong
HIIHFWRQWKHDLUÀRZQRLVHDQGHQHUJ\XVHRIWKHIDQ8VHWKHVKRUWHVW
straightest duct routing possible for best performance, and avoid
installing the fan with smaller ducts than recommended. Insulation
around the ducts can reduce energy loss and inhibit mold growth. Fans
