ing.
• Always stop the engine and make sure the blade
has stopped before adjusting the position of the
loop handle.

MOUNTING THE CUTTING BLADE
WARNING
• Be sure to stop the engine before demounting
and remounting the cutting blade. Never try to
touch the blade while the engine is running.
• Always use Zenoah genuine cutting blades and
fittings for replacement.
• When demounting and remounting the cutting
blade, firmly secure the brush cutter and wear
heavy-duty gloves.
• The cutter blade rotates left (counterclockwise)
when viewed from the gear case. When the mount-
ing side of a cutting blade is predetermined, select
the mounting side correctly when mounting it.
Particularly, when a chip saw blade is mounted
reversely, the teeth may be chipped and fly away.
This is very dangerous.
• Be sure to clean the gear shaft thread complete-
ly before mounting the cutting blade. Dirt and
sand on the thread will cause loosening of the
blade mount. This is very dangerous.
• Never use a power impact driver or other high
torque tool or put all of your weight to fasten the
mounting bolt of the cutting blade. An excessive
tightening force will damage the mounting bolt or
the gear shaft and cause hazardous accident or
personal injury. Be sure to use the accompanying
socket wrench and tighten them firmly.
