Operation
BEFORE FIRST USE

Unpack the appliance.

Insert batteries into the battery compartment
(6)
(see
“REPLACING BATTERIES”).
USING THE APPLIANCE

Place the appliance on a hard and even surface. Do not
use the appliance on a rug or other soft surface.

Put the metal bowl

on the weighing plate

Press the On/Off button
to switch on the
appliance.

Wait until the display shows „ ”.

Select your desired unit (see “SELECTING WEIGHT
UNITS”).

Put products into the bowl (do not overload the appliance;
the max. weigh is 5000 g).

The weight of the product will be displayed numerically
(in the selected weight unit) and as a graphic scale.

When finished weighing, switch off the appliance by
pressing and holding down the On/Off button
for
approx. 2 seconds.
WARNING INDICATORS
Replace the battery
– the display will show „ ”. The
appliance will switch off automatically after a few seconds.
Overload indicator
– the display will show „
”. Remove
the product from the weight to avoid damage.
Never put items exceeding the maximum
permissible load of 5000 g (5 kg).

The display will show the “minus” symbol when
using the tare function and after removing
a container or other product after resetting the
scale.
Functions
RESETING THE APPLIANCE – TARE
When the appliance is switched off and the display shows „ ”
put the bowl

on the appliance and press the on/off button
/ reset (tare) button
to reset the scale to zero.
The display will show “tare” only if a container
weighs more than 600 g.
AUTOMATIC SWITCH-OFF
The appliance will switch off automatically if no operation is
performed for approx. 60 seconds.
It is recommended to switch off the appliance
when finished weighing in order to maximize
the battery life time.
