Disposal
Dispose of packaging in an environmentally-
friendly manner. This appliance is labelled
in accordance with European Directive
2012/19/EU concerning used electrical and
electronic appliances (waste electrical and
electronic equipment – WEEE). The guideline
determines the framework for the return and recycling of
used appliances as applicable throughout the EU. Please
ask your specialist retailer about current disposal facilities.
The manufacturer does not accept any liability for any damages
resulting from unintended use or improper handling.
The manufacturer reserves his rights to modify the product any time
in order to adjust it to law regulations, norms, directives, or due to
construction, trade, aesthetic or other reasons, without notifying in
advance.
Solution of problems
If the air fryer does not operate properly or the frying quality is insufficient, please check the following table. The table indicates
the common problems, possible causes and solutions.

The fryer does not
work.
The appliance is not plugged in.
Plug the power cord into a wall outlet.
No time is set using the time control knob.
Set frying time using the time control knob.
The bowl is not properly placed in the
appliance.
Place the bowl properly in the appliance.
Overheating protection is triggered.
Use a pointy object to press the RESET button at the
bottom of the appliance.
Fried food is not
ready.
There is too much food in the fryer.
Place less food in the basket. Smaller portions are
fried more evenly.
Temperature is too low.
Set the desired temperature using the temperature
control knob (see
Frying settings section
).
Frying time is not sufficient.
Set frying time using the time control knob (see
Frying settings section
).
The food fries
unevenly.
Some types of food should be tossed after
half of frying time.
To toss the food remove the bowl from the appliance
and toss the contents (see
Frying settings section
).
Fried snacks are not
crisp.
The snacks are intended for traditional
deep frying in oil.
Use the snacks intended for baking in the oven or
sprinkle them with oil to make them more crispy.
Unable to properly
place the bowl in the
appliance.
There is too much food in the basket.
Do not exceed the maximum amount of food. The
recommended amounts are given in the
Frying
settings section
.
Basket is not properly inserted into the
bowl.
Properly insert the basket into the bowl — you will
hear a click.
The appliance emits
white smoke.
The fried food is greasy.
When frying fatty foods, fat drips into the bowl and
emits white smoke. In this case, the bowl may heat up
more than usual. It has no effect on the appliance or
on the final result of frying.
There is still some fat residue in the bowl
from previous use.
White smoke is caused by hot fat in the bowl. Make
sure that the bowl is properly cleaned after each use.
Fresh potato chips are
fried unevenly.
You used the wrong variety of potatoes.
Use fresh potatoes and make sure that they remain
firm during frying.
Potato chips have not been properly rinsed
before frying.
Rinse the potato chips to remove starch from the
outer surfaces.
Fresh chips are not
crispy right out of the
fryer.
Crispiness depends on the amount of oil
and water in potato chips.
Dry potato chips before adding oil.
Cut shorter chips to make them more crisp.
Add a little more oil to get more crunchiness.
