In order to use this function, open the battery compartment
in the suction hose handle and insert two 1.5 V AAA type
batteries or two chargeable 1.2 V AAA type batteries.
ATTENTION! Insert the batteries so that the battery
pole market “+” is always directed towards the lock of
the compartment marked with “+”.
Use only high quality batteries. Battery leakage may
cause damage to the electronic system.

To use the remote control of the suction power press the
appropriate button on the hose handle ( , ):
To increase the suction power by one setting press the

button.
To decrease the suction power by one setting press the

button.

Press the
button on the hose handle to temporarily
switch off the appliance and to operate in the
STANDBY
mode.
To continue vacuuming press the STANDBY button

again. The appliance will start operating with the previously
set suction power.
ATTENTION! The infrared transmitter and receiver have
to “see” each other in order for the remote control
system to work properly.

The vacuum cleaner is equipped with an accessory
compartment. To open the compartment lift the vacuum
cleaner handle and pull the accessory compartment cover

upwards.

The accessories may be attached to the accessory
holder in the suction hose handle. This way they will be
available for use at any time.

The vacuum cleaner is equipped with the “Parksystem”
function. This function allows to temporarily switch off the
vacuum cleaner using the fastening hook of the combination
brush without the necessity to use the on/off button. In order
to do so, during operation insert the fastening hook of the
combination brush in the combination brush fastening

The vacuum cleaner will automatically switch off.
Filter disassembly
Before changing the filters make sure that the vacuum cleaner
is switched off and unplugged from the mains supply.

Release the front cover fastening

Slide the inlet filter

from the appliance body.

Insert the new filter making sure that the outer edge of
the filter is located to the inside of the limiting rib.

Close the front cover.
HEPA OUTLET FILTER
The vacuum cleaners are equipped with a HEPA (High
Efficiency Particulate Air) H11, H13 outlet filter.

The filters have a high filtration capacity; they are made of
special fibers which are able to retain almost all dust particles.
The H11 and H13 classes determine the permeability of
a given filter: H11 filter retains 95.5% of particles with the
size of 0.3 micron and H13 filter retains as much as 99.95%
of all pollutants.

The HEPA outlet air filter needs to be replaced when the
surface of the filter is dirty or the control lamp of the outlet
filter replacement indicator lights up

(pulsing red light).
The suction power of the vacuum cleaner will reduce to
setting 1 when the outlet filter replacement indicator lamp
lights up.

To replace the HEPA filter lift the vacuum cleaner handle
and open the accessory compartment.

Grab the outlet filter cover

by the two fastenings,
press firmly with the thumbs and pull it to the outside.

Remove the HEPA filter case and replace it with a new
one. The HEPA filter ensures an effective operation of the
vacuum cleaner for about 1 year.
Insert the cover so that the two protrusions in the lower part
of the cover are inserted in the openings of the vacuum
cleaner body, press the filter cover so that the rear fastenings
snap shot on the body.
SAFBAG dust bag disassembly/assembly

The vacuum cleaner is equipped with a safety valve
which is located in the dust container (bag) chamber. It
opens automatically when the suction hose or the elements
attached to the suction hose are completely clogged or when
the dust bag is overfilled with dust. After the opening of the
valve a characteristic “fluttering” in the vacuum cleaner will
be heard. The opening of the safety valve will result in the
lighting of the dust bag full indicator.

When the dust bag full indicator

lights (with the
nozzle or the brush lifted above the cleaned surface) it means
that the bag is full and needs to be replaced. In addition the
dust bag full indicator may activate if the suction hose or the
elements attached to the suction hose are clogged.

Switch off the vacuum cleaner by pressing the “on/off”
button

and unplug the appliance.

Press the two side buttons on the end of the hose and
remove the hose end from the inlet opening of the vacuum
cleaner.

Release the front cover fastening

and open the
cover.

While holding the dust bag plate, gently bend it towards
the inside of the dust container chamber and remove the
whole dust bag upwards.

Insert the plate of the new dust bag in the tracks and
slide the plate together with the screen to the bottom of the
container, unfold the dust bag. The direction for inserting the
dust bag is indicated by the arrow on the bag.

Close the cover by pressing it until you hear
a characteristic click – pay attention not to trap the dust bag.
