Description 

The Vertical Illumination Device S is a very suitable accessory to illuminate objects extended in depth, such 

as bores, recesses and holes, due to the small angle between illumination and observation and the 
concentration of the light towards the field center. 
The  Vertical Illumination Device S  can be operated in combination with an existing standard cold-light 
source, preferably with the CL 1500 ECO. An optional, flexible light guide of 4.5 mm diameter is used to 

connect the Vertical Illumination Device S with the cold-light source. 
It can be combined with the objectives Plan S 1,0x, Achromat S 1,0x, Achromat S 0,63x, 

Achromat S 0,5x, PlanApo S 1,0x and PlanApo S 0,63x.
