Instructions for Use Preparing system for use
Using the lens protection cover
Mounting the lens protection cover
1. Slightly press the protection
cover against Varioskop 230 and
rotate it until you feel a stop
position (this is also where the
arrow on the cover is pointing
toward the black line above
Varioskop 230).
2. Firmly press the lens protection
cover upward to make it clasped by
the bottom structure of Varioskop
230.
Unmounting the lens protection cover
NOTE
Reusability of the lens protection cover
Depending on its operational and maintenance condition, the lens
protection cover can be repeatedly used until one of the following
defects is observed:
•
Coating of the protective glass is damaged and the image quality
becomes unacceptable.
•
The protective glass is no longer firmly attached to the plastic cover.
To unmount the lens protection
cover, hold it firmly on its side
and then directly pull
downward.
