CIRRUS Macular Scan parameters were derived from the Early Treatment Diabetic
Retinopathy Study (ETDRS) Grid below:

Central Subfield Retinal Thickness: Average thickness of the retina in a disk–shaped region
of 1 mm diameter centered on fovea (Region 1).
