cover
from
microscope

Setup
1.
If
not
already
visible,
open
the
Workarea
window
2.
From
the
Workarea
menu,
double
‐
click
on
Multidimensional
Acquisition
to
expand
list,
and
then
select
Multidimensional
Acquisition
.
3.
Under
the
tab,
click
Load
button.
Select
the
appropriate
experiment
set
‐
up
depending
on
what
channels
you
want
to
image
(ie
All
Channels).

Select
the
colors
tab

You
can
activate/deactivate
channels
by
right
‐
mouse
clicking
on
the
channel
number

Stage
and
Focus
Only
use
slides
that
have
been
thoroughly
cleaned
of
mounting
medium!
1.
Choose
the
appropriate
objective
on
microscope
2.
Lightly
clean
your
slide
(on
both
sides)
with
a
kimwipe
and
a
small
amount
of
70%
ethanol.
3.
If
using
an
oil
lens,
add
a
very
small
drop
of
immersion
oil
.
4.
Load
slide
on
stage.
5.
Bring
specimen
into
focus
and
bring
your
area
of
interest
to
the
center
of
the
field
of
view.

1.
Under
the
tab,
select
your
channel
and
click
the
Measure
button.
A
live
preview
window
appears.
2.
Make
sure
the
‘
Linear
display
of
full
range
of
possible
values
’
button
is
selected.
3.
Adjust
the
exposure
time
to
get
an
appropriate
signal
intensity.
Click
OK
button
on
left
side.
