Zehnder ComfoPost is a post treatment coil (heating/cooling) to be installed in combination with a Zehnder
ComfoAir comfort ventilation unit. The addition of the Zehnder ComfoPost ISO coil allows isothermal
dehumidification during the summer season.
Install the unit with a slight inclination towards the condensate drain hole. The condensate drain must be
suitably inclined and adequately protected against frost.
Attention:
ALWAYS connect the condensate drain at the bottom. Make a siphon near the
ComfoPost unit before connecting to other drains.
Insulate the supply pipes and connections to Zehnder ComfoPost and ComfoPost ISO (cold/hot water) with
a suitable thickness of insulation. Insulate the air supply pipes with a suitable thickness of insulation.
Insulate the mounting plate.
Zehnder ComfoPost and ComfoPost ISO may only be installed and used in a residential environment or an
environment with similar conditions, free from aggressive chemicals of any kind.
Zehnder ComfoPost and ComfoPost ISO must be supplied with water at a temperature included between
5 and 55 °C, suitably treated according to UNI 8065.

MAINTENANCE REQUIREMENTS
For the correct operation of the system and to maintain the warranty:
-
- Regular maintenance of the ventilation unit is absolutely essential. The filters must be checked every 3 months and replaced with
original Zehnder filters every 6 months;
-
- The filters must be checked every 3 months and replaced with original Zehnder filters every 6 months; maintenance must be
carried out annually by an authorised service centre, which will draw up a service report;
-
- At the beginning of the summer season, the Technical Assistance Centre must carry out an inspection during which it will change
the filters of the unit, check the slope and the patency of the condensate drain, clean the finned pack of the ComfoPost battery and
ComfoPost ISO (if present).
The ventilation unit MUST only operate with the original filters correctly positioned. This will prevent fouling of the exchanger of the
ventilation unit and the finned pack of the ComfoPost and ComfoPost ISO coil (if present).
In the absence of documented proof of maintenance by a Technical Service Centre, no warranty will be recognised for damage due to
lack of maintenance or neglect by the User.
