2.4 Mounting
2.4.1 The ComfoAir 155 CM unit is supplied with two adjustable ceiling fixing brackets. Each bracket is a long strip
and has four fixing points located at equal intervals. It is recommended that six screws per bracket are used to
secure the unit. Screws and fixings are not supplied.
WARNING: Ensure that the ceiling board can support 20kg
(ComfoAir 155 CM) or re-inforcement maybe required.
2.4.2 Proceed to align and secure the first ceiling bracket taking into account the available ceiling space to mount the
unit. Locate second bracket position (See Figure 1) and loosely fit four screws within each slot at the inner
nearside point. This will allow the bracket to be slotted inwards to secure the unit.
2.4.3 The unit fixes to the ceiling bracket by slotting the bracket attached to the back of the unit and sliding into place.
First ensure connection is achieved on the “securely” fixed bracket
(See Figure 2)
and push unit up to ceiling,
slide “loosely” fixed bracket to connect with the bracket on the back of the unit (See Figure 3).
2.4.4 Tighten loose screws until the unit is securely fitted
(See Figure 4)
, add an additional two screws to the outside
slots. Screw points for both brackets are shown in
Figure 5.
