OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS
1.
Clean the device when you use them for the first time.
2.
Open the water tank lid and fill in with clean water to the required level.
3.
Put adequate coffee powder or tea in the permanent filter.
4.
Put the filter in the filter basket.
5.
Put the glass jug on the plate surface.
6.
Insert the mains plug into the wall socket.
7.
Turn on the appliance by pressing the ON/OFF switch. The indicator will light up and the coffee
maker will start working.
8.
When the coffee is ready, turn off the device first and then remove the glass jug.
9.
Keeping the glass jug on the hot plate will keep your coffee or tea warm.
CLEANING
•
Always remove the plug from the mains outlet before cleaning the appliance.
•
Never immerse the appliance in water. You can clean it with a damp cloth.
•
The removable items can be washed in hot water (or in a dishwasher).
•
De-scale your appliance regularly. With normal use:
o
Hardness up to 18 DH (22.5 Clarke) – 2 or 3 times a year;
o
Hardness over 18 DH (22.5 Clarke) – 4 or 5 times a year.
o
Your water supply company can inform you about the hardness of your water.
•
Clean the outside of the appliance with a soft damp cloth, do not use scouring materials.
•
De-scale the appliance thoroughly. Use detergent, which can be obtained from specialist shops, and
follow the instructions given.
•
After de-scaling, let the appliance work twice or more with only water to rinse away the detergent
remains.
MAINTENANCE
•
Keep the appliance away from hot objects and clean it regularly.
•
If your appliance is not functioning correctly, it must only be repaired by the appointed service agent.
•
If the supply cord of this appliance is damaged, it must only be replaced by a repair shop appointed
by the manufacturer, because special purpose tools are required.
