Alarms and Event Lamps
The number of alarms is different between PVs and communication PVs.
PV: 4 alarms
Communication PV: 2 alarms (can be set only for a single communication PV)
Event lamps EV1 to 4 are for PV alarms. EV5 and 6 are for communication PV alarms. EV8 is for
communication error indications. These indications are fixed. They cannot be changed.
Event lamps do not change their indications even when the operation screen is different.
The indications are fixed as follows:
Note: If the auto range function is enabled when FLOAT is in use, do not use the
communication PV alarms.

The required information can be output to DO by setting I relay number to AL1.S to AL4.S (see
“Setting Contact Output Function” in the standard UM33A IM). Table 3.12.2 shows the additional I
