Conventions Used in this Manual

Displayed characters

• Characters enclosed with [ ] mainly refer to characters or setting values that are

displayed on the panel.

• SHIFT+key means you will press the SHIFT key to turn ON the indicator that is

located above and to the left of the SHIFT key followed by the key. The action that

is indicated above the corresponding key is carried out.

Symbols

The following symbols are used in this manual:

A symbol affixed to the instrument. Indicates danger to personnel

or instrument and the operator must refer to the User’s Manual.

The symbol is used in the User’s Manual as a mark on the

reference page.

WARNING

Describes precautions that should be observed to prevent injury or

death to the user.

CAUTION

Describes precautions that should be observed to prevent minor or

moderate injury, or damage to the property.

Note

instrument.
