4.5 Connecting to Remote
Sensor and Remote
Transmitter (Sensor Side)
WARNING
For explosion protection type products, please be sure
to read the user’s manual of the applicable explosion
protection type as listed in Table 1.1.
WARNING
Before wiring, be sure that the power supply to magnetic
flowmeter has been turned off to prevent an electrical
shock.
(1) Removing the Cover
Loosen the cover locking screw (1) (See Figure
4.5.1) clockwise using a hexagonal wrench (nominal
size 3) to unlock the cover. Upon shipment from the
manufacturing plant, the cover is unlocked. Hold
the sensor with your hand and remove the cover
by turning it in the direction of the arrow as shown
below.

(2) Terminal Configuration
When the cover is removed, the connection
terminals will be visible as shown below.
