Align the + and − markings on the retaining cover to those on the
probe head, and attach the retaining cover to the probe head.
Check that the retaining cover’s left and right latches are securely
locked.

Removing the Retaining Cover

While pinching the retaining cover at the top and bottom, remove
the cover from the probe head

.

Note

• The retaining cover can only be used with a flanged pin that is

included in the package

.

• The probe’s ground terminal cannot be used if you are using the

retaining cover

.
