MODULE CONTROL
The end user can cycle the various modes each time the front button or a remote wired button is pressed or
when an associated wireless control is received.
The following modes can be cycled:
- default:
Comfort > Comfort-1 > Comfort-2 > eco > antifreeze > Stop
- alternative:
Comfort > eco > antifreeze > Stop
Alternatively, the module can also be configured to receive commands from a pilot wire on the "FP input"
terminal (e.g., from a scheduler) and to transmit the control wirelessly to other modules (see figure below).
Cycle of 6 (default) or 4 commands:
This can be used to choose whether the module must cycle through 6
or 4 controls. To configure the module to cycle four commands using the button on the front, with the module
unlocked, send
24
short pulses. Repeat to change again.
Cycle mode (default) or comfort/eco mode:
This can be used to Cycle mode with one in which pressing the
front button (or a remote control button or a button of an associated radio module), will switch the module from
Comfort mode to Eco mode whenever the button is pressed. With the module unlocked, send
20
short pulses.
Repeat to change again.
Timer mode (deactivated by default):
This can be programmed by sending
23
pulses followed by the number
of presses corresponding to the preselected duration (see configurations table) on front button; this setting will
allow you to time the operation of the module for a given duration. The timing defined will activate and at the
end the module will automatically switch to Eco mode, whatever the previously set state. Example for
programming a 15-minute delay: run
23
and then press the front button
14
times. The state set on the module
will be held for the predetermined time whenever the front button or the remote control is pressed. At the end of
the 15 minutes, the module will automatically switch to ECO.
State light feedback: On/Off:
By setting to Off, the LED will be switched off after 10 seconds (whatever the
displayed status); the LED lights up without change of status after briefly pressing the front button.
Standard Features (default) or wireless pilot wire:
In standard mode, the module receives a command to
operate the radiators connected to it in a certain mode (Comfort, Eco, etc.) from the front button or a remote
control button or a button of an associated wireless module.
In the Wireless Pilot Mode, instead, the module operates the opposite way: commands are received on the "FP
input" terminal from a pilot wire (e.g., a scheduler) and transmitted in wireless mode to other modules, to which
one or more electric radiators are connected. It is always possible to derogate from the command received by
means of the front button on these other modules. To activate Wireless Pilot Wire mode, with the module
unlocked, send
29
short pulses. Repeat to change again.
Note: Use of the remote control button is not allowed when an MFP module is configured in Wireless Pilot Wire
mode.
