Removing the 1040 sub board
Follow the steps below to remove this FRU:
1.
Use a guitar pick to unlock the connector of the hall sensor FPC on the sub board.
Important notices for handling the printed circuit board (PCB):
Be careful not to drop the PCB onto a hard surface, such as metal, wood,
or composite material.
Handle the PCB gently.
Do not stack the PCB with other materials.
Only place the PCB on surfaces covered with materials such as an ESD
mat or a conductive corrugated plate.

Prepare for this step by:
Removing the following FRU:
o
1010 rear cover on page 13.
Detaching the following FPCs and wire connections:
o
Battery FPC (see step 1 on page 16 in 1020 right speaker).
o
Right speaker FPC (see step 3 on page 17 in 1020 right speaker).
o
Vibrator motor wire connections (see step 2 on page 19 in 1030
vibrator motor).
