IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including
the following:
1.
Read all instructions before using and keep for future reference.
2.
Make sure that your outlet voltage corresponds to the voltage stated on the rating label.
3.
Make sure the outlet is properly grounded.
4.
Keep the device away from sources of humidity, heat and direct sunlight.
5.
To protect against fire, electrical shock and injury do not immerse cord, plug or unit in water or other liquids.
6.
This appliance can be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or those who
lack experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use
of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
7.
This device must never be used by children. Cleaning and maintenance must be carried out by an adult.
8.
Keep the device away from children.
9.
Do not allow the power cord to hang over the edge of the table, counter, or to touch hot surfaces.
10.
Do not use the device if its power cord or plug is damaged, or in case of any other malfunction.
11.
If the power cord is damaged, it must be repaired by manufacturer service or a qualified technician to avoid
harm.
12.
Turn the device off before unplugging. Always unplug the device after use.
13.
Unplug the device before carrying or cleaning.
14.
Do not touch the power plug with wet hands, because it might cause electrical shock.
15.
Do not operate the device with wet hands or barefoot.
16.
If during operation of the device an unusual noise or smell appears, immediately turn it off and unplug it.
17.
If the device suddenly ceases operation, unplug it immediately, set the switch on the body in the “OFF”
position, allow the unit to cool down for 60 minutes, plug it back in and turn it back on.
18.
If the automatic overheating protection turns off the device often, contact customer service.
19.
When using an extension lead please ensure you do not exceed the maximum rated running wattage / load
of the extension lead.
20.
When unplugging the device, hold by the plug, not the cord.
21.
Do not attempt to repair, disassemble or modify the appliance. There are no user-serviceable parts inside.
22.
The appliance is not intended to be controlled by an external timer or separate remote-control system.
23.
Never use accessories not recommended by the manufacturer, because it might cause the device
to operate improperly, damage it, or cause harm.
24.
Do not put fingers or any other body parts into the bowl, blender, grinding chamber, cutting chamber or any
other openings of the machine’s base or installed accessories. The supplied food pushers are to be used
to feed products into the grinding chamber and cutting chamber.
25.
Unplug the device before installing or removing accessories.
26.
Do not use more than one device functionality at a time.
27.
Exercise caution while handling blender cutting blades, emptying the jug and during cleaning.
28.
Blender cutting blades are very sharp. There is danger of harm. During operation, never touch the jug
on the inside, and never put any objects inside it.
29.
Only use the blender with the lid tightly closed and the cap put on.
30.
Never put hot ingredients in the jug.
31.
Do not use the blender to mix ingredients without adding any fluids, and do not let the blades to work without
any food inside the jug, as it might cause damage to the engine. If most ingredients have settled
on the walls of the jug, turn the blender off, and scrape the ingredients off the walls using a plastic or silicone
spatula.
32.
Never exceed the maximum working capacity of the blender jug (1500 ml).
33.
Use the device for a maximum of 15 minutes at a time. Allow the unit to cool down for 30 minutes between
each 15-minute use.
34.
Do not use the blender continuously for longer than 2 minutes.
