USING THE DEVICE
1. Pour a little bit of vegetable oil onto the plate and spread it out on its entire surface with
a paper towel. Wait a few minutes for the surface to soak in the oil. Dry off excess oil with a paper
towel.
2. Plug in the device and turn it on using the control knob clockwise to the desired power level.
Heating is indicated by red backlight of the knob. In standby mode, it is lit up blue.
3. Wait 30 minutes for the granite plate to heat up.
4. Put food you want to heat up/gently grill onto the granite plate. Remember to flip it every couple
of minutes.
5. Place a few slices of raclette cheese (or other quickly-melting cheese) in each of the pans.
You may add other ingredients such as tomatoes, mushrooms etc., as well as spices.
6. Slide the melted cheese onto previously cooked potatoes. Add grilled food to your plate.
7. After finishing work turn off the device, unplug it and wait for it to cool down completely.
NOTE:
Do not use the grill to defrost food.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
CAUTION:

To ensure proper operation of the device clean it after each use.
•
The device, plate and pans will be hot after use. Exercise caution to avoid burns.
•
Never submerge the device in water.
•
Do not use caustic cleaning agents or abrasive cleaning tools such as scouring pads or wire
brushes.
•
The granite plate may be washed in a dishwasher. No other elements of the set may be washed
in a dishwasher.
1. Remove all pans and the plate. Wipe the surface of the device with a damp, soft cloth with
a bit of mild detergent.
2. Carefully dry off the device.
3. Wash the pans, spatulas and plate with running water, use a bit of detergent.
4. Carefully dry off the plate, pans and spatulas before re-installing them in the grill.
