Step 3 – EMScanner Software
The software automatically detects the spectrum analyzer.
Turn on the spectrum analyzer, connect it to the PC and start the EMViewer software. As
soon as the EMViewer software is launched, two messages are displayed at the bottom of
the screen.

The EMViewer software automatically detects first the adaptor/scanner and then the
analyzer. If the adaptor is not connected properly, EMViewer software gives an error
message about the adaptor connection and it doesn’t check the spectrum analyzer
connection until the adaptor is connected to the PC properly.

After the adaptor is connected to the PC properly, restart the EMViewer software.
