Roller blinds (KR20 & KR20S Top & Face fix)
KR20ST/F Roller Blind:
1
.
Unpack the blind and remove the blind from the back bar and brackets.Check
the position and height of the blind ensuring it will hang correctly and that
nothing will prevent the blind from collapsing.
2
.
Fit the back bar and brackets to the substrate in accordance with the
drawings shown in figures on page 2, ensuring that the correct type and
quantity of brackets are used with suitable fixing screws/plugs as shown
in figures on page 3. It important that the bracket is securely fixed to the
substrate using TWO fixing screws and care must be taken to ensure that no
ligature points are left once installation has been completed. If a degree of
float is required in the magnet, the packing disc may be discarded.
3
.
The spring must be on the right-hand side unless the fabric is reverse rolled.
4
.
The spring would have been tensioned during the manufacturing process
but the tension can be increased or decreased if required.
5
.
If the fabric does not wind up completely when the blind is operated, greater
spring tension can be applied as follows:
a) Bring the blind down 250mm from its uppermost position.
b) Remove the blind from the brackets and roll the fabric by hand back onto
the roller.
c) Replace the blind in the brackets.
d) If tension is still not enough, repeat steps a to c.
e) If tension is too much follow the above but in reverse i.e. remove the blind
from the brackets and unroll the fabric by hand of the roller. Ensure the
blind is not over tensioned as it will result in the bottom bar crashing into
the blind and potentially jamming.
