State Monitor for Intercom Contact
You can make the phone to monitor a specific intercom user for state changes (busy or idle). When the monitored
user receives an incoming call, the supervisor can tap the intercom key to pick up the call directly. The phones sup-
port this feature using a SUBSCRIBE/NOTIFY mechanism as specified in
RFC 3265 .
Note
: If you want to use the Intercom key to pick up a call, you need to configure the pickup code for the Intercom key, for
example, “linekey.X.extension = *97”.

The monitored user is idle.
The monitored user receives an incoming call.
The monitored user is dialing.
The monitored user is talking.
The monitored user does not exist.

The following table lists the parameters you can use to configure state monitor for intercom contact.

Description
It enables or disables the phone to display different intercom key icons when the status of monitored
user changes.
Note: It works only if “features.intercom.subscribe.enable” is set to 1 (Enabled).
