of your source device to any of the inputs (digital, analog stereo, analog multichannel) of your YA701. If you do not
connect any audio output of your source component to your YA701, you will not be able to listen to the audio content
on your YA701.
Thus we recommend the following :
•
For DVD players (or HD-DVD/Blue Ray devices playing DVD discs), we recommend always to use a digital
connection (coaxial or optical) between this device and your YA701. The optical input
on the [Y]box makes it
convenient but you can choose any digital input on your YA701 main unit.

you must connect the 5.1 (or 7.1) analog outputs of your player to the 5.1 (or 7.1) inputs of your YA701. This
connection will provide full-bandwidth reproduction of the audio signal originating from your high definition
player allowing you to enjoy the full performances of next generation audio formats. This connection is also
required if you want to listen to multichannel SACD discs.
