OPERATION
Move the steering controls outward to the •
locked (outer) neutral position.
Move the throttle to the middle position.
•
If the engine is cold, the choke control should •
be pulled out to its extent.
Press in and turn the ignition key to the start
•
position.
When the engine starts, immediately release
•
the ignition key back to the run position.
Set the desired engine speed with the throttle.
•
Allow the engine to run at a moderate speed, •
“half throttle”, for 3-5 minutes before loading it
too heavily.
USE FULL THROTTLE WHEN MOWING
•
(no choke).

The mower deck’s anti-scalp rollers should be
evenly adjusted.
