Quick Start Guide

* This information is provided for your convenience. It does not replace the 
instruction manual and safety instructions. The manual and safety instructions need 
to be read and understood in their entirety.

OPERATION 
1. MANUAL OPERATING

1) Press down the lock off button, then pull ONLY the start bar upward towards the upper
handle bar. Keep it in this position to start the mower as well as during use (see Fig. H1).
2) Release the lock off button and start the mower.
3) To stop the mower, release the start bar. 

2. SELF-PROPELLED OPERATING

1) Pull the start bar towards the upper handle bar first, and then pull the self-propel 

engagement bar upwards towards the upper handle bar as well (see Fig. H2).
2) Hold the start bar and the self propel engagement bar in position and the mower will move
forward. The operator must steer and direct the mower the handlebars.

3) To stop the self-propelled operation, just release the self-propel engagement bar to return it to 

its original position. The mower will stop moving forward unless the operator pushes the

mower manually with sufficient force.
