Inserting the gas cartridge
Only insert and change gas cartridges outdoors in
a well-ventilated location.
Set the activation knob (5) to the „Off“/“Unlock“
position. The gas cartridge cannot be inserted if
the activation knob is not in this position.
Close the regulator (6) by turning it clockwise
until it is in the „Off“ position.
Remove the protective cap from the gas cartridge.
Open the cover (4) and check that the seal (e) for
the valve is in good condition.
Place the gas cartridge in the space with the
nozzle first. The groove in the gas cartridge (b)
must be lined up with the tab (a) in the gas heater
valve.
Secure the gas cartridge to the valve using the
hasp (c) that grips the gas cartridge collar (d).
Close the cover.
Use
Activate the gas partridge by pressing the
activation knob (5) to the „On“/“Lock“ position. If
you hear a hissing noise or if the activation knob is
difficult to move, the gas cartridge is not correctly
inserted. Correct the problem before continuing.
The ring (3) functions as a choke, making it easier
to light the gas heater. Pull and hold the ring.
Turn the regulator anticlockwise until it clicks and
a spark appears in the lighter. Repeat until the gas
lights. Release the ring.
Turn the regulator to the required setting.
Turn the regulator off by turning it clockwise to
the „Off“ position.
Undo the gas cartridge by pressing the knob into
the „Off“/“Unlock“ position.
Rapid extinguishing
If you need to turn the gas heater off rapidly, press
the knob to the „Off“/“Unlock“ position.
Cleaning and Maintenance
Wipe the gas heater using a well-wrung cloth once
it is cool. Avoid exposing the gas heater to dust
