MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE
WARNING: Stop the tool and remove the battery before any repair work.
• Check your Hedge Trimmer regularly before starting work.
• Damaged blades must be repaired or replaced by a trained specialist before continuing
to work.
• After each cutting, clean the blades with a soft brush and oil-soaked cloth and spray a
protective layer on the blades.
• The ventilation slots of the engine must be clean.
• Do not wash the machine with water. The motor housing can be cleaned with a damp
cloth without detergents or solvents! These could damage the plastic parts.
• Store the machine in the supplied protective cover.
• Only use original spare parts and accessories.
TROUBLESHOOTING
WARNING: Before performing any repair work, always ensure that the battery pack
has been removed.
WARNING: Always wear heavy duty gloves when adjusting or cleaning, especially
when handling sharp objects.
Fault/malfunction Cause Remedy
Engine is not running.
Battery pack not installed. Install battery pack
Battery problem (low
voltage). To charge the battery. If this does not
work, replace the battery.
The electric parts are not
working properly. Take the unit to the After service
centre.
Engine stops after short
operation.
Battery problem (low
voltage).

Overheating Cool down the Trimmer.
Hedge does not work.
Battery pack not properly

Install the battery pack correctly.

Abnormal vibrations:
Immediately stop the
machine!
The blade is bent, broken
or worn out.

The fastening nut of the
blade is loose.
Blade installed incorrectly.
The driving system is not
working properly.
Cutting tool and motor do
not stop:
Remove the battery
immediately!
