Secure work. Use clamps or vise to hold work. It’s safer than using your hand and it frees both hands to
operate tool.
•
Keep proper footing and balance at all times.
•
Keep tool sharp and clean for better and safe performance. Follow instructions for lubricating and
changing accessories. Inspect extension cords periodically and replace if damaged. Keep handles dry,
clean and free from oil and grease.
•
Disconnect tool when not in use, before serving and when changing accessories, such as bits.
•
Remove adjusting keys and wrenches. Check that keys and adjusting wrenches are removed from tool
before turning it on.
•
Avoid unintentional starting. Don’t carry plugged-in tool with finger on switch. Be sure that the switch is off
when plugging in.
•
Outdoor use extension cord. When tool is used outdoors, use only extension cords for that use and so
marked.
•
Watch what you are doing and use common sense. Don’t operate tool when tired.
•
Before further use of the tool, a guard or other part that is damaged should be carefully checked to
determine that it will operate properly and perform its intended function. Check for alignment of moving
parts, binding of moving parts, breakage of parts, mounting, any other condition that may affect its
operation. A guard or other part that that is damaged should be properly repaired or rellanced by an
authorized service center unless otherwise indicated elsewhere by dealer.

•
Never remove the guard. Make sure that the saw blade is correctly screened by the guard.
•
Never remove the riving knife. The distance between the toothed rim and the riving knife should not
exceed 5 mm.
•
Do not use saw blades made of HSS steel.
•
Do not use saw blades which are bent, deformed or otherwise e damaged.
•
Do not use saw blades which do not comply with the specifications stated in this manual.
•
Do not use an adaptor to mount a saw blade with a larger bore.
•
Before sawing, remove all nails and other metal objects from the workpiece.
•
Never switch the machine on while the workpiece touches the saw blade.
•
Never start sawing before the machine reaches full speed.
•
Use a push stick when sawing extremely small workpieces.
•
Never attempt to saw round workpieces.
•
Do not leave the work area until the machine has been switched off and the saw blade has come to a
complete standstill.
•
Never attempt to stop the saw blade by exerting side pressure.
ADDITIONAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS FOR CUT-OFF MACHINES
•
Make sure that all devices screening the saw blade are in perfect working order.
•
Make sure that the saw blade is screened correctly.
•
Never block the saw blade guard. Repair a jammed saw blade guard before using the machine again.
•
Do not use saw blades made of HSS steel.
•
Do not use bent, deformed or otherwise damaged saw blades.
•
Do not use saw blades which do not meet the specifications stated in this manual.
•
Before sawing, remove all nails and other metal objects from the work piece.
•
Never start sawing before the saw reaches its full speed.
•
Securely clamp the work piece. Never attempt to saw extremely small work pieces.
•
Only leave the machine after switching off and when the saw blade has come to a complete standstill.
Pull down the saw head and press in the locking knob.
•
Never try to slow the saw blade down by exerting pressure on the side.
•
Before performing maintenance to the machine, always unplug the machine.
