7. Apply oil of the recommended type

to the entire surface of the air filter
element, and then squeeze the
excess oil out.

NOTE:

The air filter element should be wet but
not dripping.

Recommended oil:

2-stroke engine oil

8. Coat the mating surfaces of the air

filter case and air filter case cover
lightly with grease for an airtight
seal.

9. Install the air filter element.

10. Install the air filter case cover by

installing the screws.

11. Install the air filter case by install-

ing the screws, and then install the
air filter joint clamp.

12. Install the panel.
