To make communication settings
On the [CB Radio] screen, touch
.
The following screen appears.
The screen is identical to the one
which is displayed by the following
procedure:
1. Go to [Setting] menu.
2. Touch the category selector
[Communi.].

Receiving text messages
from other cell phones/smart-
phones
If the connected phone device, such
as a smartphone, corresponds to a
short message service (SMS), you
can view received messages on the
screen.
The icon appears when there is an
SMS message.
1. Open the [Communication] menu.
See “[Communication] menu”
on page 8-1.
2. Touch [SMS].
The [SMS] screen appears.
The message received last ap-
pears on the top.
3. Touch

, if necessary,
and touch the message you
want to read.
The header and the message
are displayed.
