2. Check the wire harness for continuity. Re-
place if there is no continuity.
3. Connect the RPS coupler and ECM cou-
plers.
SCU relay check
1. Remove the fuse box cover and SCU relay
“1”.
2. Check the SCU relay. See “Main relay
check” (7-31).
3. Measure the input voltage between the ter-
minal “a” and ground.
4. Turn the engine start switch to ON, and
then measure the input voltage between
the terminals “a” and “b”.
5. Install the SCU relay and fuse box cover.
